When we found out the babybutt was a boy, I went through that inevitable "What do I do with a boy? I don't know as much about boys as I do about girls! Is it going to be difficult?" It took me about half a day to adjust before it felt like the most wonderful thing in the world. But then I still occasionally thought about specific things that crop up with a boy that worried me: circumcision, activity level, playground fights, adolescence. But now I've moved to a really fun place. My fun place now is, "Won't it be awesome to be the princess of my household?"
I can really be the girl here even though I'm half tomboy. We've got 2 male pets, the Hub and the little baby boy. I rule. ;-)
*Name the movie from which I snagged that line.

ROFL...I wish it worked that way here. Here I just feel smothered in testosterone.
Just allow me my illusions. ;-)
You will be the queen. :)
My sis felt the same way. Now she has 2 boys and they are the BEST!
You *will* be the princess. And (don't tell anyone my radical feminist self said this) I think boys are easier, based on my totally nonscientific years as a nanny to three boys.
Cool. :)
Liam has opened the world of precious baby boys to me - and yes, you will be queen, Boy clothes are much cuter than they used to be. liam is as much fun to dress as any girl.
