I'm very sad that the Olympic Games are over. China did a phenomenal job with the ceremonies and the venues. I just wish I had been able to catch some of the Equestrian events. Darn NBC.
Maybe tomorrow I'll chat a little about my adventure into Metformin side-effect land when I bumped up to 1000mg. But tonight I'll just dream about the Olympics and the fact that one of the people who causes me the most sadness will not be much in my way soon. Wahoo and happy day!
I'm thinking maybe I should look into Twitter. I have so many of these little blurbets...

Twitter is a little too short for my liking. It only gives you 140 characters to write. I have trouble keeping things that short.
I was also sad to see the end of the Olympics. In the past, by the time the whole 16 days are over I am sick of it. But not this time.
Mel at Stirrup Queens had an interesting post about the Olympics and how it can become such a milestone for people. I wonder if in 2012, I will be chasing some kiddos around the house thinking about the 2008 Olympics and all of the IF will seem like a bad dream.
That would be nice Jamie. I truly hope that would happen for either or both of us. I have thought often about how "when this or that" happens, that I'd be a Mom by that time. It hasn't happened yet sadly. :(
