Hub and I have been together for 10 years, but our 5 year wedding anniversary is coming up very soon! I fear that many posts in the coming days will have to do with that. I will strive to not gag you with the professions of my undying love. If you're nice to him, perhaps Hub will help with that by pulling a few stunts to distract me from those professions.

We have done pretty much everything on our own, and it's been hard, and I can't even begin to tell him how much I love him. Words fail. The words and slow rhythm also somehow invoke a peace about this whole infertility thing. Sometimes I really do just want to lie with him and just forget the world. It's been particularly hard lately. I'm back to the sight of babies causing tears at the back of my eyes. Anyway, this song resonates with me.

I love that song! Especially the part of just laying here...I often ask my hubs the same. :)

There is a song by the Stereophonics (a British band, if you can believe it! :) that says "Would you like to stay a minute longer?" very drawn out, very melodic, very sensuous. At the end of a long day, when all we have the energy for is cuddling, one of us (alternately) will sing it to the other.
